Civic Platform (PO) have been accused by opposition party Law and Justice (PiS) of illegally financing their election campaign.

It has been suggested that they used money from the European People’s Party congress, held in Warsaw, to help fund their own campaign.

“Among other things there is a suspicion that they accepted funds for their European Parliament election campaign from a source other than the Civic Platform election campaign fund,” Mateusz Martyniuk, spokesman for the prosecution told Polish Radio. ...
