Newspaper reports in Dziennik suggest that Artur Boruc has been axed from the national team by under-pressure coach Leo Beenhakker.Boruc has endured a nightmare season and has been in and out of the front and back pages – the season started badly for him when he was sent home in disgrace after breaking a curfew while on national duty, and progressively got worse after revelations about his private life, death threats from Polish gangsters, an attack on his Glasgow home and a string of clangers for his club side Celtic.
