Legia overtake Lech

Legia Warszawa stormed to the top of the Ekstraklasa Football League following a tense one goal victory over struggling Piast Gliwice. A 65th minute goal from Takesure Chinyama was enough to secure victory and send them to the top with just six games remaining. Lech, leaders since Christmas, could only manage a draw against mid-table LKS, with Bartosz Bosacki saving Poznan’s blushes with a last minute equalizer. One point now separates the two sides, with Lech and Legia facing each other this Sunday in a six pointer which could yet decide the title race.
Keeping up the heat are defending champions Wisla Krakow, and their 1-0 win away at Arka Gdynia leaves them two points off the leader ...
