Seventy percent of Polish primary schools are without a doctor's surgery and where nurses are available they often have too many pupils to take care of, says a damning new report from the Children’s Ombudsman.

Seventy percent of Polish primary schools are without a doctor's surgery and where nurses are available they often have too many pupils to take care of, says a damning new report from the Children’s Ombudsman.

According to the report, children living in small towns and villages are worst affected by lack of access to proper health care at school with the mortality rate among children and teenagers being 40 percent higher than in other developed countries.
