As the financial crisis continues, the Presidential office will be forced to lose many of its waiters.

As the financial crisis continues, the Presidential office will be forced to lose many of its waiters.

President Lech Kaczynski will still enjoy the luxury, but staff will now be asked to prepare tea for themselves and visiting guests.

The office's yearly budget is in fact PLN 30 mln lower than originally requested and cutbacks have been made.

We had to make some savings as the Sejm cut our income. Waiters are first to be fired, an official spokesman told TVP.
