The European Commission is the bearer of bad tidings once again this week as another of its reports suggested a brain-drain is in full effect. Over two million Poles, mostly men under the age of thirty went abroad for two months or over in 2008. 26 percent of them were university graduates and most are overqualified for the work they do. The economic crisis has had little effect on the brain drain according to the commission which believes Poland is still losing some of its brightest talent.
