Defending football league champions Wisla Krakow went to the top of the table in sensational style following a thrilling 1-0 home win over bitter rivals, and title challengers, Legia Warszawa.
A 36th minute goal by Brazilian import Marcelo was enough to secure the win for Wisla, though the visitors were left to rue a host of missed second half chances – the majority of which were blundered into thin air by Legia striker Takesure Chinyama.
