Comic book about Auschwitz published

The first ever historical comics based on the former Nazi death camp Auschwitz have been published.

Described as graphic novels, written by Michal Galek and illustrated by Marcin Nowakowski they deal with a number of aspects within the camp, including the complex relationships between ordinary prisoners, functional prisoners and SS members. 

“They are being made in cooperation with historians who […] specialise in the Holocaust, the military and the Second World War.
