A Polish film-maker and the co-producer of Schindler’s List and The Pianist has been arrested on charges of bribery after allegedly paying a convicted criminal to get a doctor to give him a false medical certificate.Lew Rywin, who was instrumental in helping create the Steven Spielberg and Roman Polanski epics, was arrested on Monday along with nine other people including his son, for attempting to acquire a medical certificate in 2005, in order to avoid completing a two-year prison sentence following his conviction in a corruption case.
