Actors sue PiS over video

Law and Justice (PiS), the party of opposition leader Jaroslaw Kaczynski, has come under attack from an unexpected angle after some actors declared that they intended to sue it.


The actors are peeved that in a PiS party political broadcast aimed at whipping up support for the European elections, the producers included a clip from an old, 2007 advertisement for Civic Platform, the party of Prime Minister Donald Tusk.

The actors, all of whom were in the older broadcast, claim that PiS used their image without their consent, and this has left them angry.
