Polish music-lovers will soon have access to iTunes, the world’s biggest on-line music store, thanks to the European Union.


Apple had previously refused to provide the service for Poland, due to fears over computer piracy.  

At present, the store is split into national markets, which prevents buyers in one European country purchasing songs from another European country’s store.

New laws in Brussels however, now state that all record companies are obliged to give just one licence for the entire European community.   ...
