Russia blames Poland for World War II

A military historian at the Russian Defence Ministry this week blamed Poland for starting WWII.“WWII began because Poland refused to satisfy German claims. Not everyone knows exactly what Adolf Hitler wanted from Poland...[but]...his claims were rather moderate: to incorporate the Free City of Danzig into the Third Reich,” writes Colonel Sergey Kovalov in an article published on the Ministry’s website.
Entitled History against Lies and Falsification, the article also historically justifies the Soviet attack on Poland in 1939 claiming Stalin had no choice but to sign a non-aggression Pact with the Nazi leader.
