Punishment proposal for homophobes

The Campaign against Homophobia has called for punishments for those who behave in a homophobic manner.The organisation has already sent proposals to the Minister of Justice Andrzej Cauma outlining its ideas - amongst which is a three year prison sentence for using homophobic language.
“When the Kaczynski brothers were governing the State, homophobic language became normal. As our research shows, the word ‘pedal’ (poof) is used all the time and is everywhere. We must show that it’s insulting,” says Marta Abramowicz, chair of the organisation. ...
