Medical students lack HIV/ AIDS knowledge

Polish medical students graduating this year have a poor level of AIDS and HIV knowledge, according to Dziennik.
A recent survey, in which over 100 students in their sixth year of training took part, showed a third were not able to identify clinical symptoms of AIDS and one in six were afraid of the disease.
Furthermore, 40 percent were unaware that there was a high chance that an HIV positive pregnant woman could pass the disease onto her child. ...
