The Polish national squad returned from their South African jaunt this week with press and pundits alike questioning the wisdom of such a trip just a week after the conclusion of a gruelling domestic season. Poland kicked off their whistle stop tour with a 1-0 loss at the hands of South Africa, a goal from Thembinkosi Fanteni the difference between the two sides. The red and whites returned to action days later, this time scraping a 1-1 draw with Iraq.
