A deal worth PLN 26bln has been signed between the Ministry of Regional Development and the European Union. Minister of Regional Development, Elżbieta Bieńkowska told TVN CNBC Biznes, “It is going well, even better than we thought.” The Ministry already has grants worth 2.5 billion and Bieńkowska said she hoped the revenue from the deal would double by the end of the year.
Budget assumptions for 2010 was presented to Prime Minister Tusk on Thursday with discussions to continue on Monday 15th of June. However reports in the press beforehand were not positive.
