The soap opera that is Arka Gdynia has reached another cliff-hanger with news that the team could still face the prospect of relegation following their inconclusive battle with the PZPN (Polish FA) over their role in the corruption scandal that has rocked the domestic game.

Arka, promoted, relegated then reinstated to the Ekstraklasa last summer, will be keeping their fingers crossed for a speedy solution before entering talks with those players whose contracts are set to expire. Also hanging nervously on PZPN’s final decision are Cracovia, Kielce, LKS Lodz and Podbeskidzie Bialsko Bialo.
