Polish Muslims demand new laws to end discrimination

The Polish Muslim community is calling for changes to an old law requiring them to pray for, amongst other things, the President and the Republic of Poland.
As well as the Head of State and the country they live in, the current law, which dates back to 1936, states that all Muslims are obliged to mention the Government and the Polish national army during their weekly Friday prayer session.
In order to make changes to some of the current laws, the Foreign Ministry, along with various representatives of Polish Muslims, are currently working on a draft bill which will introduce a number of major changes to the legal status of Muslims in Poland.
