‘Unholy conservative alliance’ draws criticism

With a certain amount of fanfare, Law and Justice joined hands with fellow conservatives from across Europe to trumpet the formation of the European parliament’s latest political bloc, and dismissed accusations that it might dwell in the margins of power.Boasting 55 MEP drawn from seven countries the European Conservative and Reformists Group intends to take a deeply eurosceptic stance, and, said Jaroslaw Kaczynski, Law and Justice (PiS) leader, battle bureaucracy and champion the status and equality of nation states.
