A family home in Kazimierz Biskupi was severely damaged by a gas explosion this week, injuring four and leaving nine families homeless. The explosion occurred at 8am Wednesday morning and was heard all over the neighbourhood.Bricks fell from the upper walls and fragments of furniture were blasted from a second-floor flat. Fire officers suspect the blast was caused by a leaky gas bottle, as the building is not connected to the mains. The owner of the flat where the explosion took place is missing, but was seen running from the scene in his underwear and may be suffering from shock.
